Baby Corn Pepper Fry at home

Baby corn pepper fry is delicious and served as a spicy starter/ appetizer dish. Baby corn dishes are mostly loved by everyone and healthy too.  Let us see how to prepare this spicy starter.

Servings: 2 people

Ingredients

Baby corn – 200gm
Onion – 1
Capsicum – 1
Ginger – 1/4
Garlic – 4
Gingely oil – 3tbsp
Salt – as required

Masala Powder Ingredients

Pepper – 1 1/2tsp
Cumin – 3/4tsp
Fennel seeds – 3/4tsp

Baby Corn Pepper Fry Recipe

  • Boil bowl full of water(baby corn should be immersed).
  • Once the water gets boiled, put the baby corn in hot water for 2 mins.
  • Then take out the corn and chop into small pieces.
  • Cut capsicum and onions into small pieces.
  • Peel off the skin from ginger and garlic then cut into small pieces.
  • Put pepper, cumin, fennel seeds into a mixer jar and grind it well to a powder texture.
  • Heat gingelly oil in a pan and fry ginger pieces.
  • After a minute, add garlic and onion and fry it until onion becomes golden brown color.
  • Now add capsicum to it and fry it.
  • After a minute, add chopped baby corn to it.
  • After a minute, add masala powder to it and mix it well for 2 minutes in low flame and turn off the stove.
  • Now move the fry into a bowl and sprinkle some coriander leaves on top of it.

Your delicious and spicy baby corn pepper fry is ready to serve.

Note: If you like to have more spicy, then add more pepper.
You can also add some chopped tomato to have a tangy taste.
