Apple had its debut iPhone launch in 2007. The increase in the versions will, of course, have an increase in the price. As such the case of iPhone X but the price of this product is incredibly high.

Keeping the price of iPhone X aside, the design, features, specifications, and performance are higher than its predecessors. The face of the iPhone X is designed to be covered with the display entirely which is not found to be designed in the ten-year history of the Apple iPhone. You can see that the home button is missing in this series of iPhone. Except that a small space on the top of the display is occupied by the front camera, sensor, Face ID, and a speaker.

Design and specifications:

iPhone X

The iPhone X is packed with a 5.8-inch display. The iPhone X has pretty thin bezels on all sides which looks almost like a bezel-less smartphone. This is the largest smartphones yet from the company. It has a 1125 x 2436 resolution, 458ppi screen with Dolby vision. And for the first time, the OLED panels can be seen in the Apple-made iPhone. The OLED technology is used in the iPhone X because it has the ability to offer various brightness levels, wide color support, and color accuracy.

The iPhone X is now available with no home button and the embedded touch ID sensor since the display screen has filled the face of  the iPhone. Instead, there is a face ID which is enabled with an array of sensors in a notch. This is a small notch placed at the top of the front edge of the face.

components on the top

The top of the display sports an infrared camera, front camera, speaker, microphone, Dot Projector, Flood illuminator, proximity sensor, and an Ambient light sensor. It feels like the tiny space might not consist these many components. But yes, the iPhone X has been designed with all these on the top of the face.

The Dot Projector, infrared camera, and the flood illuminator help to build a 3D model of an object such as your face even in the dark. This says that the face ID cannot be fooled using your picture or a face mask that is used to trick most humans.

The face ID technique is the first generation unlocking technique and is said to be slower than the touch ID. There is a new feature in the iPhone X that the camera enables is called “Animoji”. This allows you to send messages where emojis can take your voice and face.

iPhone X water resistant

iPhone X also comes with a lot more improvements and enhancements that includes camera with Quad-LED True Tone flash on the rear, the A11 Bionic SoC (fastest ever smartphone chip on paper), water and dust resistant, stereo speakers, wireless charging, and many other features.
