Mr.Ravi Rai’s right leg got fractured when he is stepping down in stairs. After this accident he got admitted to one of the Delhi’s Top hospital ” Fortis Hospital ”  for treatment but where his suffering increased and doubled.

According to Daily Mail, Fortis hospital in Shalimar Bagh admitted 24-year old Ravi after his fall and while surgery was recommended to fix the bones, a temporary cast was put on the injured leg while the family made insurance arrangements.

But on the day of surgery, well versed orthopedic surgeons of top hospital mistakenly did surgery on his left foot instead of right.

On his perfect healthy left foot, they have inserted multiple screws during this wrong surgery. When Ravi woke up he came to know this wrong surgery and screamed loudly bloody murder that they operated on his wrong leg.

The doctors said surgery was needed to fix the bones. We agreed but wanted some time to arrange the insurance papers. So a temporary cast was put. It’s incomprehensible how they missed the marks left by the cast and operated on the wrong foot. It is a case of medical negligence and the doctors must be punished suitably for this. ”
