Fluffy Pancake Recipe
You may come across a lot of shops or restaurants who sell fluffy pancakes and even you may taste it there. It will be surefire fluffy and yummy pancakes. But when you try to cook the pancakes at home, you may end up with cookies. LOL..
But no worries, the best pancake recipe to make fluffy pancakes at home, without any buttermilk or exceptional ingredients. Making a fluffy pancake is an art hidden inside the batter. If you make the batter part perfectly then almost your pancake will be better.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour, cleaned
- 2 teaspoon of Baking Powder
- A Pinch of Salt
- 2 tablespoon of White Sugar
- 3/4 cup and 2 tablespoon milk
- 1 Egg, well beaten
- 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted Butter
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- Any vegetable oil (Canola oil is preferable)
How to make fluffy yummy Pancakes
- Blend flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder into a container/bowl and mix it well.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter collectively. Do not use hot or boiling butter which may cook the eggs.
- Pour the watery ingredient mix into the dry ingredients and beat till mostly combined. The dough(batter) should be thick and a little bumpy, but without any visible ridges of flour. If you feel the batter is thick, you can add little milk to loosen the batter. Leave the batter aside until it set.
- Heat a nonstick pan in low or medium flame and brush it with oil to cook the pancake.
- Use a 1/4 cup measure to scoop and drop the batter into the pan so that you get properly sized pancakes.
- Cook until the downside is golden brown, or until the top surface forms some bubbles. Flip and repeat on the other side. Adjust heat accordingly. Serve while still hot.
