Check Your Apple Pencil’s Battery Level
While you are using Apple Pencil, you have to know the Battery level of it. There is no separate slot allocated to the pencil to show the indication light related to charging percentage. If you want to know how much percent of the battery is left, you need to install a widget on iPad pro.
By default, the pencil gets 12 hours battery life according to Apple. You should connect it to your iPad pro’s lightning port if your battery charge is over. It gives 30 minutes of charging time in just 15 seconds of charging.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to view your notifications and then swipe right. Swipe right from the lock screen, or swiping right from your leftmost home screen. You can also do this by opening Today view to view the widgets on your iPad Pro. Scroll down and click on the “Edit” button at the bottom of the screen if you are unable to see a Batteries widget on the list.
Go to the “More Widgets” list, so that you will find a “+” button. Tap on the “+” button to add “Batteries” widget to the list.
If you want to arrange the Batteries widget where you like, you should drag the slider to the right.
It easy to place the Batteries widget at the top of the screen for easy viewing. Click “Done” after completing.
Now you can see a Battery widget that displays the battery level of your Apple Pencil, iPad Pro, and other accessories those are connected such as Apple’s AirPods.
Whenever you want to check your battery level just swipe back to the Today view.
