Change your Yahoo Email Password
The idea of changing the password is good. If you think that someone else has figured out your password or if you just haven’t changed your password in a while, or ever then change a password. From the account settings page, you can change your password. You can recover it using your mobile or recovery email address if you can’t remember your password.
Changing Your Password
Log into the Yahoo Mail website: You can change your password from the Yahoo Mail inbox. Visit mail.yahoo.com and sign in with your Yahoo account, if you have access to your account.

Over the Gear button in the upper-right corner, hold your cursor: You’ll find it next to your Yahoo account name above the page. A menu appears when you hold your cursor over the gear.
Select “Account Info”: You will find this at the bottom of the menu.

Tap the “Account security” menu: You’ll find this listed on the left side of the Account Info page.
Enter your password: You need to enter your password in order to proceed to the Account Security page. Usually, you can just double-tap the password field to select it if your password is saved in your browser.

Tap the “Change password” link: You’ll find this above the “Account security” page.
Create a new password: For confirmation, you need to enter the password twice. Your password change will take effect immediately. Then you will be signed out of all of your connected devices.
- Confirm to create a unique password for your email account that you don’t use anywhere else.
Sign in with your new password: You’ll need to sign back into Yahoo Mail on any of the devices or programs you were signed in on. For instance, you’ll need to enter your new password in the Mail, Calenders, Contacts section of the iPhone’s Settings app. The process for logging back in varies depending on the program or device.
