Selling Refurbished iPhones
You could have been purchasing a refurbished iPad or Mac till today, but not an iPhone and online from Apple. That is getting modified as the tech company is now offering customersthe chance to purchase Refurbished iPhones like iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus online.
9 to 5 Mac reported, Apple’s online refurb store is stocked with iPhones for the first time.
The eight phones listed, which cost either $529 or $589. This saves customers an estimated 15% compared to purchase a brand new device.
The refurbished phones are unlocked by including a new battery, SIM free and outer shell. It comes with a one-year factory warranty.
The company says,“We test and certify all Apple refurbished products.” Nothing that supplies are “limited and availability is guaranteed once we receive your full payment.”
Apple’s decision to sell refurbished phones online comes nine months after Apple began accepting trade-ins of newer iPhones with cracked screens and other dings.
Still, the company’s iPhone Upgrade Program probably provides the phones reported by 9 to 5. By the recent release of the iPhone 7, Mac saw an influx of iPhone 6s device.
