Install Bixby and Galaxy S8’s New Launcher On other Samsung Devices
We already know that Samsung has introduced its new flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+. And they have the top features and specifications than its other flagships. One of its highlighting features includes the AI Assistant called Bixby. This is almost similar to the Siri app on the Apple devices. This AI Assistant helps you navigate things around the Galaxy S8’s features without having to use your fingers.
You just need a few prerequisites and a Samsung device that runs on the Android’s latest Operating System, Nougat. Install the new launcher and use it as a default option. To achieve this, follow the below steps.
- Install the APK
- press home button
- when prompted which launcher you want to use, choose “Always”
The Samsung Galaxy S8 launcher provides an overall clean look and offers a new app drawer which is accessible with a swipe. But installing Bixby along with this will give you a complete experience. Here are the steps to be followed to install the Bixby and Galaxy S8’s new launcher on a Samsung device.
Step 1: Install the Galaxy S8’s new launcher on your Samsung device in order to install both these. Download the app package from here and install it.
Step 2: After that, download the APK file of Bixby here.
Step 3: Once you have downloaded the file, copy both these APK files onto your smartphone. Before installing the APK files, turn ON “Unknown Sources” from the settings.
Step 4: When you are done, hold on to the home button to enter the settings of the S8 launcher.
Step 5: Now activate Bixby by just tapping it.
Once you are done with the installation process, reboot your phone and enable the Bixby by swiping left on the home screen.
