How to get the classic Solitaire game:
The first thing you need to have is access to a computer running Windows XP. You need to extract the required game files from which the solitaire game exists. Follow the steps below on Windows XP to get the Classic Solitaire game on Windows 10.
Step 1: Open “Windows Explorer”
Step 2: On the left pane, tap on “My Computer”
Step 3: Now double-click on “Local Drive (C:)”
Step 4: From the screen that appears, double-click on “Windows folder”
Step 5: Search for “System32″ and double-click on it.
Step 6: Now click the Search button on the screen and click on “All Files and Folders” options on the left pane
Step 7: In the search button type “cards.dll, sol.exe”. You can even type either of them (cards.dll or sol.exe) separately to get the result for the Classic Solitaire game.
Step 8: Then the screen displays the search result for the classic Solitaire game. You can check the result. Connect a USB flash drive to this device.
Step 9: Now, right-click on the related result and copy the game to the USB flash drive connected to the Windows XP device.
Step 10: Now connect the same USB flash drive to the Windows 10 device.
Step 11: Open the “File Explorer” and double-click on the Local Disk (C:)
Step 12: Create a new folder in the C drive and name it Solitaire.
Step 13: Open the USB flash drive and copy the game from the USB flash drive and paste it to the C Drive of the Windows 10 device.
Now you can enjoy playing the Classic Solitaire game on your Windows 10 device whenever you want. You are now back with your favorite game on your Windows 10 PC.
