Egg Bites


Eggs are a very good source of high quality protein which is also inexpensive. Egg white consists of more than half the protein of an egg. It consists of vitamin B2, cholesterol than the yolk and lower amounts of fat. The whites are rich sources of vitamin D, B6, B12, and selenium. There are few minerals like iron, copper and zinc. Egg is rich in nutrients and also contains fatty acids. A single egg has about 4 grams coming from the egg white and 6 grams of protein. It is a source of cholesterol, fat soluble vitamins A,D,E and K. A single large boiled egg contains:

  • Vitamin A: 6% of the RDA
  • Folate: 5% of the RDA
  • Vitamin B5: 7% of the RDA
  • Vitamin B12: 9% of the RDA
  • Vitamin B2: 15% of the RDA
  • Phosphorus: 9% of the RDA
  • Selenium: 22% of the RDA



  • 3 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Cucumber, finely chopped
  • ½ Tomato, finely chopped
  • ¼ Bell pepper, finely chopped
  • Required amount of salt
  • Handful of spinach, finely chopped
  • Salt



Step 1: Take a bowl and crack eggs into it

Step 1: Mix it throughly

Step 1: Distribute egg into a mini muffin pan

Step 1: Take all the chopped items

Step 1: Add vegetables to egg mixture

Step 1: Put the pan in the oven and heat at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes

Step 1: Take it out from the oven
