Lenovo Miix 510

Lenovo Miix 510

Lenovo Miix 510 does work the best as both a tablet and a notebook. The performance of the device is fast and it offers a colorful display. This is a 12.2-inch 2-in-1 detachable laptop. It is designed with a sleek design and unique watchband hinges that can rely on the Miix 510 to power you through any situation. It allows to detach the keyboard easily and use the touchscreen. It is provided with an optional Lenovo Active Pen instead of using the touchscreen.

There are two watchband-style hinges connected to a stand that allows the tablet to recline at various angles. It can be reclined at any angle depending on your viewing convenience and comfort. They’re made from 280 individual pieces of stainless steel. They add a real glitzy element to the Miix 510 that is very catchy.

The Miix 510 uses an IPS display and has excellent viewing angles. This makes it unique among all the other various laptops. But there’s a little chunk to the 12.2-inch display’s bezels compared to the Surface Pro 4. But they aren’t off-putting and certainly not a deal-breaker. Lenovo has introduced Dell XPS-style display bezels to its Yoga 910. The display is 1,920 x 1,200 resolution.

Keyboard And Touchpad:

The keyboard case uses a two-stage magnetic latch and pogo plugs to pass signals to the tablet. The touch sensitivity of the Touchpad is excellent. There’s an optional Active Pen. You can use if you need pressure-sensitive input for drawing or capturing accurate signs. The Active Pen has two side buttons for right-click and erase. But it lacks a shortcut button on the top of the pen for opening OneNote or another program. The Active Pen comes with a removable plastic nub that connects it to the USB 3.0 port for storage.

The Miix 510 is built with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 520 and 8GB of RAM. The Miix 510 had trouble with our 3D gaming tests, returning less-than-smooth frame rates on the Heaven (17 frames per second) and Valley (20fps) tests at 1,366 x 768 resolution. And the graphics quality was set to Medium. The fast Intel Core i5 processor makes it a better performer than the Miix 700 across the board. It has double the memory and storage.

Battery Life:

The battery life is good and can last for 7 hours, 30 minutes roughly. The Miix 700 has a higher-resolution screen and longer battery life due to its use of a lower wattage processor. Otherwise, the less-expensive Lenovo Miix 510 is a better option.

The Lenovo Miix 510 can be one of the best options among the top for students and professionals as well. The design, display, battery life, performance of the 2-in-1 detachable machine can catch your eye towards it.
