How to Prepare Pizza/Pasta Tomato Sauce at Home

Generally, we like to add tomato sauce in a number of recipes like puff, pizza, pasta, noodles, etc. When you prepare any of these recipes at home, you might not have tomato sauce. Then you prefer buying tomato sauce from the supermarket whenever we need it. But we don’t always like to go to the supermarket when we find an empty sauce jar.

Don’t worry! I’ll escape you from going to the supermarket always only to buy a sauce bottle. Yes! I am here to let you know the preparation of tomato sauce for your pizza or pasta. You can use this tomato sauce with all varieties of baked pizza. It will taste good with not only pizza but also pasta, puff, sandwiches, cutlets, any many recipes. The preparation is quite easy and you need not worry about the availability of ingredients. This pasta tomato sauce can be made with easy ingredients within 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh and ripe tomatoes
  • 5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon dry oregano
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Preparation:

Step 1: Rinse and chop the tomatoes.

Step 2: Put more than half of the chopped tomatoes in a blender and make tomato puree

Step 3: After blending the tomatoes, add the remaining chopped tomatoes to the puree and keep it side

Step 4: Now take a pan, pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil and let it heat

Step 5: Add the chopped garlic to the oil in the pan and saute it for 10 – 12 seconds on low flame

Step 6: Now pour the tomato puree (with chopped tomatoes) in the pan and saute it for 5 minutes in low flame.

Step 7: When the tomatoes are cooked, add the chopped basil, dry oregano, salt, and pepper

Step 8: Heat the recipe for a minute or two in low flame and keep stirring

Step 9: Taste the seasoning and add salt and pepper if needed.

Pizza Pasta Tomato Sauce

Let the sauce cool for some time and the tomato sauce for your pizza is ready! You can store the sauce in a jar after it cools down.
