Manage your child’s Android phone with Family Link app

Google has introduced various apps this year, and all apps are available to the public. Nowadays every kid expects their own phone. Now Google has introduced a new App, which has been announced as a new app for children.

Google has introduced this Family Link App and it can be used on all Android devices. It includes more rules for controlling child usage time and apps. And this app is very easy to use.

Android:

Family Link App can be used on any android device which runs on OS versions from Android 6.1 (marshmallow) or Android 7.0 (Nougat).

Family Link:

You can manage Ap apps which are used on your child’s device and you can also limit daily usage time of those apps. There are some steps to use this app.

How to use Family Link App:

Step 1: First you need to download this Google Family Link App from Google Play Store or iTunes

Step 2: After installation has been completed, sign in with your Google account and you have to create a family group. This will allow you to invite your child phone(child Google account). You are allowed to invite up to 4 family members.

Step 3: In most countries, only children under the age of 13 are able to manage Google accounts. But Google has removed that guideline and will ask you to enter your child’s First and Last name (create a google account for kid option).

Step 4: Then you have to link your card and it will be charged for $0.30 for a fee. No worries. It’s just for security purpose and payment will be reversed once the setup process is completed.

Step 5: Now set up on your child’s phone. Install Google Family link app

Step 6: Login with your child Google Account and complete the setup process.

Step 7: Now your Google Family Link app will detect your kid’s phone and then you can start kid’s apps limitation setup.
