Oppo F1s Smartphone

Oppo F1s

Oppo is one of the Chinese smartphone company which mainly focuses on the selfie (front) camera. Oppo F1s, the Selfie expert is the latest launch of the company. It is an upgraded version modeled from its previous launch F1. Beyond these, the F1s needs to be updated more in terms of design and features when compared with the fast running competition.

The best thing about this F1s being that it features a 16MP front camera. And other specifications are also not, in any way, lesser than some of the other smartphones. This smartphone will be the ultimate choice for the selfie lovers. The 16MP front camera itself will motivate anyone to buy the F1s. But it’s quite costly worth Rs.17,990 having these features.

Let us see if the Oppo F1s is really worth the cost or more than required. We shall take a look at its features and specifications of this smartphone.

Design and Features:

Not more of a difference could be seen with the design of F1, F1 Plus, and the F1s. These virtually look the same from the front. The screen of the F1s display has a pre-installed screen guard to protect the display screen. It has a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels which is larger than its predecessor. It has a home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. This home button itself will work as a security for the user. This phone is completed covered with a metal body and glossy gold trims along the edges.

This phone supports dual-nano SIM cards and an SD card that can accommodate 128GB storage. In the bottom lies the micro USB port to charge the battery, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker grille. The volume buttons on the left and the lock button on the right. This is a light-weight and a slim mobile that seems too handy.

Display:

The 5.5-inch IPS display which has a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. The display produces rich colors and the maximum brightness level for an image captured. It also displays to its full in the bright sunlight. The display can translate to 267ppi. The display of this mobile is protected with a Gorilla Glass 4. It has a pre-installed screen guard to protect the display screen. Therefore, with all these built-in with the smartphone, it is, in no way, unsafe for the display or the screen of the mobile. There is a blue light filter which helps in reducing eye strain when using the smartphone for a long period or at night.

Camera:

The main and the best quality of the Oppo is found to be the front camera. The front camera is designed to be 16MP and the rear camera being 13MP with LED flash. The rear camera gets the same features with the addition of an Ultra HD mode which can shoot 25MP photos and an expert mode, which is basically a manual mode.

The camera app is similar to the one on Apple devices but it offers the five common modes. They include time-lapses, videos, photo, beauty, and panorama. All these work for the front as well as the rear camera. Other features for the front camera include some filters, a double exposure mode, and even a GIF mode. There is one thing that we cannot set the resolution, so its either full screen, rectangle or square.

Battery:

The smartphone has a battery capacity with 3,075mAh. This battery with a single charge can last for one day without using it to its full potential. The battery resulted in 3 and a half hours to 4 hours of an on-screen display along with full data usage.

Storage:

The Oppo F1s has a 32GB of inbuilt memory storage. Out of the 32GB of inbuilt memory, 25GB is user accessible but we noticed that an additional 4.5GB is used by the system under the other section.

Processor:

The processor of the Oppo F1s is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is an octa-core SoC consisting of four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock rate of 1.5GHz and the rest four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock rate of 1.0GHz.

Fingerprint Sensor:

The home button of the Oppo F1s has an integrated fingerprint sensor which is not available in the previous F1 version of Oppo. The sensor is flanked by two backlit capacitive buttons. The fingerprint sensor unlocks the mobile faster than any other mobile. This fingerprint sensor is a secure feature that doesn’t allow others to use your device without your fingerprint.

Performance:

Day to day, the performance of the smartphone is being great. Thanks to the 3Gb RAM that makes all the processor run fast. The phone handles everything from multi-tab browsing (through Google Chrome) to intensive games. We can easily switch between multiple apps without any lags. This mobile won’t heat up so simply even after playing games like WWE. 4G connectivity is good and the earpiece was sufficiently loud even during a chaotic commute.

I think you will believe that Oppo F1s is obviously a Selfie expert after going through this article. And I’m sure you will be tempted to buy one for yourself by seeing the images shown in here.
